Good advice, in particular the car rental in Athens, No needed, expensive to park inside, hard to find parking spaces outside! Driving around is not so easy ! Take the Metro, it has AC in the summer mounths Visiting the churches with a tank-top is not respectful and is NOT something particular to Greece, it is like that the world over ! SHOW SOME RESPECT !

I was on Poros for 3 days in May 23. Stayed at 7 brothers hotel which was the best/nicest hotel of all my 12 Greek hotels with a view from my balcony of the water. Did some of my best Greek sketches there, boats and doorways . Food was very good but the waiter at the restaurant my first meal tried to overcharge me but I got that sorted and told him I wasn’t impressed. Did a lot of walking along the waterfront onto the next part of Poros. Great island, I really liked it

Please please please add number 11: If your ferry ticket has a seat number and its not crowded, you can sit anywhere. The number of times I have been kicked out of a seat on an almost empty ferry is ridiculous cause I was in "their" seat. I've seen North American idiots wander around like lost lemmings, dragging their luggage and families behind them looking for their chair. Its a 30 minute ride, guy. Sit anywhere. If the ferry is big enough, you can even enjoy the outside deck the whole ride.

hello, I’m planning a trip in Mid April would you say it’s a good idea items of weather wise and less tourist but also stores are open?

I was in Greece in April 23 and got the combination ticket at the Ancient Agora the day before. Got to the Acropolis at 8:20 the next morning and it was not busy so it was a great visit…it’s crazy to get rid of the combination ticket, why would they do that, it’s just going to make visiting Athens more difficult.

I just noticed that we only have 1 hour and 45 minutes to transit from terminal 5 to 3... Thanks a lot! WE WILL RUN

I would take the ferry to Poros for day trips when I wanted to get out of Athens. It's a lovely, quiet island. Very underrated.

Just came back from a cruise to various Greek islands with an injured hip & pronounced limp. I ordered some walking sticks right before the trip & they were an immense help

Went to Greece for the first time with 4 girlfriends in May. We were in Athens, Meteora & Santorini. Beautiful country, lovely people and amazing food. BIG FAN. Thanks for your super informative videos!

I’m here in Amorgos now. Love it. The landscape is amazing. My other fave on this trip is Sifnos. I’ll be back to both next year again for sure. Water looks amazing on Poros!

Thanks Tiffany for giving me a fix of Poros. We love the island and have had many happy holidays there. We have stayed for as long as two weeks at at time and hired a Quad bike to get around which was so much fun and enabled us to see so much more of this beautiful place which so many over look. Which hotel did you stay , as it didn't seem very noisy. There are some lovely ice cream shops along side too. Thank you for sharing.

07:42 Last window on the right, the place where I stayed for 3 years 1996-1999. I had a view of the statue in 03:03 and from another window I could see the center of Gaios. I adored the place.

Should I absolutely book accommodation in advance when you go to an island such as Ios or Santorini? I am not sure how long I want to spend on each island ... I am traveling by myself and I am not quite the beach type.

Hi, I retired at the end of last year and I am thinking maybe moving to Athens to enjoy my well-deserved retirement; I am told that I need about 2k a month to live fairly well and that I can actually apply for a Resident visa and or permit here in the States. Is that true?

The tips that you mentioned in this video are very practical and straight to the point. Just came from visiting Paros, Naxos, and Hydra. I noticed that ferries don't run always on time. When I left Athens to Paros, there was over 1.5 hours delay. Thanks for such a valuable video.
